Description
This old PSSC instrument 'Collision in 2 Dimensions' is still used successfully. It clamps to a bench and allows different mass balls to collide at angles to calculate the laws of dynamics and mass. The point that the balls reach the floor is shown by carbon paper leaving a mark. A plumb bob from below the target ball to the floor provides the zero point on the floor for measurements of distances and angles.
