Livingstone Fire blankets are made out of fire resistant fabric and are used to smother flames from cooking or clothing fires. They should be located in the kitchen (away from the stove), preferably between the stove and the kitchen exit. Once used in a fire they should be replaced. Flame resistant blanket.
